We love all your shows...you crack us up. I want to know why your last name sounds like there is a "d" or a "t" but there is not? Also, what are the initials on your pinky ring? I don't see an H or Hunter or a R for Ryder. When my husband retires we are going to take your two Triple D books with us and follow your footsteps. Thanks for all the laughs. We really love watching you!!!

I found this site by accident, while trying to learn about the Christmas Eve tradition of the seven fishes.
I am so excited. My daughter and family will be driving down from Portland. She and her hubby are so much fun to share a kitchen with. Exciting!!!

Chocolate Zucchini Bread – oh yeah. My good friend Leigh gave me this recipe. It's absolutely fabulous, chocolatey & moist!

2 squares unsweetened chocolate, melted and slightly cooled (or 6 Tbls cocoa + 2 Tbls veggie oil)
3 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
2 c. grated zucchini
1 tsp vanilla
2. flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp cinnamon
¾ c chocolate chips

Oven 350℉ 2 - 9x5 loaf pans

Combine eggs, sugar, oil, zucchini, vanilla & chocolate (cocoa mixture.) Beat well.
Add dry ingredients and then chocolate chips. Stir till combined.

Bake 60-70 mins. Cool 15 minutes in pan, turn out of pan, cool.

This article speaks my language! I wholeheartedly felt for Carl - as I do for every lobster I cook ... I learned you can put them to sleep by rubbing their head, it works and I'll even go so far as to say I think it makes the meat more tender. An asleep-when-dying lobster has to be more tender than a stressed-out lobster, I know it makes for a less stressed-out cook. Loved this article!

There are many ways to use tofu in recipes but this one is certainly unique. We love choclate and tofu, so we will give this pie a try tomorrow. Thanks

I actually did use real black flies in this Lemon Black Fly Muffin recipe when I cooked for Andrew Zimmerman on the Maine episode of "Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmerman. The problem was they were small to begin with and were even smaller, for sight, after cooked. They still tasted great! :-)

Maple Walnut Cookies! Just take your favorite Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe, leave out the chocolate chips, add (up to double) extra walnuts and 2 Tablespoons of real maple syrup, you can also substitute maple extract for some or all of the vanilla extract. Delish!
